Powell would clip off New Hampshire from enthusiatic support from libertarian Republicans.
However most Social Conservatives and Neo-Cons would be less that happy about that nomination. That's why I don't think Powell would be nominated in the first place.
The nation still remembers 9/11 and Clark definitly has good security creditentials. Anyone who is associated with the Bush administration's defense and security policy isn't going to do well in 2008.
