The toothless hicks have taken over the GOP.  Roy Moore could make a YouTube video blaspheming the Holy Spirit (the unpardonable sin) and his inbred hick supporters would say "At least he INVOKES the Holy Spirit in the public square!"

Isn't this race competitive solely because of his character issues? Normally I agree that campaigns shouldn't be run like Clinton's, but in this case, I mean, it seems much more viable for obvious reasons.

I mean, Jones should go after Moore's character for sure.  However, he also needs to show Alabamans why they should trust HIM.  He's gotta say "Look, Alabama.  I know y'all haven't had a Democratic Senator for 20 years and probably are wonderin' why you should choose one.  Well, let me give you three reasons..." (and he goes on to list said valid reasons)

That would be a winning strategy, IMO.
