The ORP has endorsed Mike DeWine in the governor’s race after Mary Taylor begged them to make no endorsement. Now, she is saying she won’t support DeWine should — AKA: when — he win(s) the primary.
What does she have against DeWine?

Mary Taylor and DeWine are now out attacking one another's children as the Republican primary for Governor turns increasingly ugly, while State Rep. Rick Perales' (R-Beavercreek) primary challenger has unleashed allegations he kissed, choked, and sexted her. Perales has admitted to sexting, but not choking or kissing Perales.

Normally I don't think it makes sense to be a pro-gun Democrat since it really won't help you in the long run. You piss off your base and you don't win over conservatives because the NRA is all-but an arm of the GOP. But Cordray might actually be able to get the NRA or even the Buckeye Firearm Association behind him if he faces DeWine in November.
Pro-gun Dems are needed in a state like Ohio because the Appalachian vote can make the difference, as evidenced in November 2016.

I don’t buy for a second Trump was ever 44-52 in Ohio. Trump being +1 is pretty decent, and I’m honestly  surprised he isnt higher.
Trump is popular in Ohio?!

Any polls for DeWine vs. Cordray likely to drop soon?  We've gotten everything from FL-GOV to FL-SEN to IN-SEN to MO-SEN, yet nothing on Ohio...

The Dispatch is back to it's Republican hackery: after endorsing Zack Space over Keither Faber, they've endorsed both LaRose and Yost in the SOS and AG's race, respectively.

Really does go to show just how loathes Faber is, though.
Think they'll endorse Cordray or DeWine?

Nah, I think a better contrast of their personalities would be that Cordray comes off as the "adorkable" type, whereas DeWine comes off as the cranky uncle that you have to deal with every Thanksgiving.

Has Aftab fallen off the face of the Earth?

WHY don't we have any quality polls on this race?!  Ohio is a key swing state, yet it's hardly been polled.

Yet, we'll get the ten thousandth poll showing Whitmer up by double-digits, or Laxalt and Sisolak trading leads, or Newsom on his way to victory...

Just phone banked for the first time, got to see that ticket splitting in action. Yes I'm voting for Aftab and Sherrod Brown, no I'm not voting for Cordray. Luckily Cordray doesn't need to win my congressional district to win statewide.
Cordray needs every vote possible...
