It's good, I guess.

The only problem is when he said "How perfect."  I thought that came off as a bit sarcastic, but that's just me.

I hate to be cynical, but that almost makes it sound like a backhanded compliment.

Exactly the same feeling I had.

Look, if McCain didn't say anything publicly...we, or some in the press...would be calling him callous and blind to the history of the moment.  He had to run the ad.  And frankly, I am pretty sure he is sincere.  McCain may think Obama hates America and wants the troops to fail.  But I don't believe the man has a racist bone in his body.  He gets what today means.

yeah, I thought the ad and not leaking his VP pick was a wise choice.  Gives him a minute to show that he is gracious...before he begins 2 months of attack starting tomorrow.
