I don't know Mr. Carlson, but I completely agree with him, or at least the generality that Vick should have suffered more and that he is overpaid. He was the cause of animal suffering and death, and considering that humans are animals, and dogs are man's best friend, he should have gotten a hell of a lot more punishment.

didn't watch the clip, but when a salary is determined by the highest bidder (as it should be), who are you to say it is too much?  the value of something is ALWAYS determined by what someone is willing, wisely or unwisely, to pay for it.

Obviously false.  'To pay' for something is to excersize a political power - people cannot 'pay' who have no money.  In other words, only those empowered by the State to act as 'buyers' can set the 'value' of something, thus, the State sets all value.
