All that matters for the GOP these days is the complete and total embracing of the personality cult of Mr. Donald J. Trump. McCarthy and Scalise are pathetic clowns.

Agreed. And that's exactly problem. They should have been wiped out in 2020, particulary downballot. Not that this would have changed their attitude, but given Dems more power to pass Biden's agenda. The GOP has no serious agenda and therefore doesn't deserve to have a say in legislation.
