Biden/Buttigieg would be an awesome ticket, I would be very happy about that.

Me too, but not that likely to happen. Buttigieg has a shot at some cabinet appointment if there is a Dem prez coming 2021.

I've just watched the Fox Town Hall and have to admit, he's a pretty impressive candidate. These kinds of candidates have brought Dems to victory with Carter, Clinton and Obama. If he finds a way to improve numbers among minorities, he's got a shot once the field gets narrower.

Pete Buttigieg hires former Goldman Sachs executive as national policy director

Democratic presidential contender Pete Buttigieg has hired a former Goldman Sachs vice president and Google executive to run his policy shop, his campaign announced Thursday.

That is a major Red Flag. Why would he make such a stupid decision?

She had an environmental job in Goldman Sachs more than a decade ago and then worked on global development for Google. No one will actually care other than Twitter. But, you know, the media loves their headlines.

Thanks for getting this one straight. This is the danger of reading only headlines.

Opposition to SSM isn't automatically homophobic, which means per definition, hatred of gays and lesbians. I know some people, US and foreign, who oppose SSM but are not homophobic and would definitely vote for Buttigieg over Trump.
