Kasich did not have exact same appeal than the Trumpster in the Rust Belt. I think the only state he would have won is WI (along with OH and IA), while keeping it pretty close in MI (<1% margin) and PA (~1% margin). Nevertheless, with Hillary’s weak performance I think Kasich/Haley would have won by picking up NH, CO and ME-at-large in addition to the states the Trumpster won. The PV would have been about equal, with a small lead for the GOP ticket.
