Well, IL is a deep blue state and Rauner just won because Quinn was damn unpopular in 2014.

I heard the Obama family is staying in DC until Malia and Natasha graduate high school.

Yep, she won't run. She was considered as a possible candidate for the IL-Senate this year, but declined last year.
