Conservative (2017-)

Purchased a membership for the recent leadership election. I'm planning on letting it lapse next year.

What did your ballot look like?

[1] Scheer
[2] Bernier
[3] Leitch
[4] Obhrai

I would have marked Bernier first if he hadn't come out for a Canada-China FTA.

Did you vote for Leitch?

Leitch has some admirable personal qualities but I found her very uninspiring as a candidate; her position on immigration was tepid at best - her campaign focused entirely on screening for values, refusing to discuss actually reducing immigration - and her views on social policy are far to my left.
