Today marked the most touchdowns ever scored in one afternoon on NFL RedZone, with 96 (the previous record was 85).  Of course, part of that is that, being Week 17, there were 15 afternoon games.

Also of note was that Derrick Henry became the 8th player in NFL history to rush for 2000 yards in one season.

This SNF game would have been so much more exciting as a winner-take-all game (if the Eagles had beaten the Cowboys last week) than as a "one team needs to win, while a third team is hoping they falter" game.

I feel pretty good about most of these, but I'm on the fence about IND/BUF and BAL/TEN.

Anyone bizarrely curious to see what the Nickelodeon broadcast of the Bears-Saints game looks like?  I think it has serious potential to be "so bad that it's good".

I feel like Doug Pederson was kind of an unfair scapegoat for the issues the Eagles had this season, but it's clear that the Eagles had to do something, given the obvious internal turmoil in the organization.

I imagine that Doug Pederson will get another job, but, even if he doesn't, he has made a major mark on football strategy by normalizing more aggressive decisions on 4th down and 2 point attempts.  The rest of the NFL started to catch onto the analytical value of more aggressive playcalling after it was a huge part of the Eagles' Super Bowl run a few years ago.

Roger Goodell has to be rooting for Brady vs. Mahomes at this point

Bucs and Chiefs

(I probably would go Packers and Chiefs but I'm being strategic to give myself an outside chance of tying DFW)

I'll go with whoever DFW doesn't pick in the Super Bowl, for obvious reasons

Picking the Chiefs while rooting for the Buccs (which I guess is the opposite of most people on here lol), so if the Buccs do win and we tie, worth it Tongue

Then, I'm picking the Bucs.  I have second place secured even if I'm wrong, so there's no real risk for me here. Cheesy

I was actually pulling for the Chiefs tonight, but I'll take my share of the pick 'em trophy!
