The precincts reporting first in Jefferson are all the east/more conservative ones.   It's only 5% though.

Am I really the only one who thinks Beshear is favored? For Christ's sake, he is outperforming Bevin by 5-6 in eastern KY.

Beshear might actually win :-o

Five precincts left in Jefferson,  all in the Dem areas.

The results so far in Virginia look rather disappointing compared to expectations. It looks like the Democrats will take control of both chambers but only by 2-3 seats each instead of the wider margins expected.

Looking like the Democrats are sucking in the Hampton Roads/VA Beach areas, but Richmond/NOVA will give them slim majorities.

Bevin's refusing to concede and wants to pull some power moves to throw the election to the state senate.

...uh...will he be able to?

I still want an answer to this. Is there any actual legal/constitutional recourse that Bevin can take advantage of or is he just posturing to create questions about Beshear's legitimacy?

No.   The most he can do is request a recount in court.   A judge would have to approve the recount (there is no automatic recount in KY).
