1. It wasn't a death threat
2. he wasn't talking about the whistleblower
"He's like a spy"
"You know what we used to do to spies"
The intent is pretty darn clear. Just because he talks smoothly doesn't get him off the hook.
I mean, what we used to do to spies was put them in jail. That's not a death threat unless your goal is to deliberately interpret any and all statements made by the Idiot in Chief as the literal worst, most evil possible interpretations of vague comments. Next week if the President says something about "fighting injustice " yall will post an inflammatory headline here claiming he called for the next Holocaust.
This title skirts the line on libel and the author of this thread should be ashamed. As I always say, there are 10,000 things to complain about Trump doing so why waste time lying and focusing on unimportant b.s.? It just makes it so those of us who hate Trump but aren't socialist babies find more common ground with not voting than siding with your #resistance.
Wrong.
Trump specifically mentions Treason, and the obvious penalty for Treason, "In the old days" as he put it, was death. It's not rocket science to figure out what he was getting at. Stop having the low bar for him.
