Kay, well the question was about the post office, and this bill focuses less on that but adding postal banking as an extension onto the Post Office's duties. The Post Office is very solvent, and works very very well and admirably. I think we are continuing to see the Post Office expand and grow to reach rural communities, and be a responsible employer and a great place to work and employ middle-class workers.

I have the utmost faith that the post office can handle this task, as well, and even better as they continue to honorably handle our mail service.

Postal Banking would provide an economic outreach to MILLIONS of Americans, ensure our post office gets adequate funding, and protect a worker's paycheck to not be purloin by predatory multinational banks.
