Yep, I have seen the partial.

One thing I am paying attention to is behavior of animals such as birds. So far it seems normal, but supposedly that changes over the next half hour or so as the eclipse becomes fuller.
Thanks for the heads-up. I'll look out for that.

The cool part is totality.  I wouldn't go so far as to say that it's not worth seeing at all as a partial eclipse, but totality is when it's really fun.  The dark skies, cooler temperatures, sounds of the evening, and eerie glow around the sun make for an amazing experience.  I'm now fortunate to have seen it twice- in Nashville in 2017 and in Evansville today.

Also, we definitely lucked out with a hot sunny day and finding an amazing spot at a rooftop restaurant.
