I'm sure everyone is going to be totally cool with this development and we won't get any over-reactions from anyone.
Totally!

Any benchmarks for Todd Young margin and what to extrapolate from it?

I'm going to say:
Young over 60: red wave
Young 55-60: somewhere in between
Young under 55: blue wave

Thoughts?

Young should crack 60% no matter what the environment is tbh.
Honestly, yes.

The "swing from 2020" feature on NYTimes is probably going to be useful, since they do it by district automatically it looks like.
That sounds neat.

That ain't good news for Dems there.

Told you. Dems can’t win in Georgia… been telling anyone who will listen for the last 2 years

As in, since the last time Dems won in Georgia?

Which wasn't even two years ago.
GA is obviously a safe R state because this poll showed Kemp up 14 points.
Sorry man! I didn't make the rules!

The pro-life abortion amendment is trailing Rand Paul by 5-10% in the rural eastern counties so far.

If those numbers hold, I think it will pass, but I'm definitely going to be tracking that variance as we get into more suburban areas.

Yes, the big question is whether it trails Paul by 10 or by 20+ in the big suburban Republican counties.

I think it will be closer to the latter.
What is the exact wording of the amendment?

Polls have closed in Greenland. Its Democratic delegate to the US House is leading 72-38.

Are some of the threads not updating for anyone else? I’m getting no “new” notifications
I think Virginia did this to ensure the servers could run through election night.

I'm sensing a vibe shift back towards the democrats.
Wait until Florida. 2016, 2018, 2020 all went to sh**t when Florida dropped. At least we know it's a safe R state now, however.
Corporate needs you to find the difference between these two pictures. They are roller coasters and then atlas forum. Response: they are the same pictures.

Extremely high turnout at A&M on campus precinct, line is crazy and students are mostly liberal looking.
I've flat out said to people IRL that "there's no way Beto is winning", but if he wants to make the result closer, he needs things like this.

It seems like a bit of a mix. If the number seems too good to be true for Dems, it's almost certainly mail or at least mostly mail, whereas the reverse is true for Rs.
That would make sense.

It's such a shame that Beto lives in Texas. For all his bombastic flaws, I think he's a genuinely good person and would do an incredible job.
He's a nice guy. Easily passes my "would have a drink with" test.

I literally was wondering about this while voting, but didn't notice straight away. Republicans are insidious.
So, what Democrats on the ballot are most likely to benefit from this?

GA exit poll-
41% college
59% no college

2021 runoff was 38% college, 62% no college

Unfortunately in Georgia, a state where college educated whites vote 75-25 R and where the black vote is significantly represented in no college, this doesn't tell much.
Could this actually hurt Ds?

People having to actually cast a vote for each race, god forbid!!!!

As if it isn't part of a bigger plan. The death of our elections by a thousand cuts, it gets tiring of explaining reality to GOPers who want to be intentionally ignorant and/or play dumb about the intentions of their party.
This might actually help Ds on net in TX. Straight ticket D voters are less numerous than straight ticket R voters...

The Libertarian vote being this low both in IN and GA is not good news for Democrats (incl. Mark Kelly, most likely).
Yep, it isn't.

CNN Exit Poll Ohio
Vance 50.7
Ryan 48.3

If that is accurate Republicans are in for a bad night with White Voters.

What the actual f**k. There's no way Ryan over performs Beasley.
Candidate quality still matters in some cases.
At least some.
