I've wondered if a profanity dropping candidate could be appealing these days. Cynical voters could see him as more honest.

Depressing.

My thoughts exactly.  Presidential candidates should express their thoughts through normal English - not profanity.  If in a presidential debate someone said said something like "my opponent's reform plan is bull****" then people would be shocked - and rightfully so.
