And 11th November is generally stipulated date which was set post factum by Piłsudski and his fanboys in 20s. Initially obviously 11th November was considered as important day but due to end of the I World War. Left-wing parties generally celebrated 7th Nobemver and right-wing initially 28th June. It was official, state holiday thanks to the "Sanation" authoritarian regime only for 2 years before II World War. After the war is was removed and only brought in 1989 back because commies had not like it. Nowadays almost no one remembers about those pre-war differences.
