Obviously MT, and that’s an easy choice even with ME making my personal Top 5 of US states (MT/ME/NC/WI/TN, although I’ve never been to ME/WI
).
I might be a little biased, but I’d be fine with being trapped in MT for the rest of my life, and I can’t say that’s true of many other places. It’s quite an emotional bond that’s developed between me and the place (not necessarily the people...), and it’s reinvigorated me at certain times in my life while just generally providing me with a source of peace, comfort, and gratitude.
