And yet I was ridiculed when I said that the next Democratic nominee won't be in the mold of Bernie Sanders (who got crushed in 2016, something many people like to forget)

People could very well want a nominee like Bernie Sanders, but just not Bernie Sanders himself.

Fair enough, but I disagree with some posters who think that the former is a given. Also pretty telling that Clinton has a higher favorable rating among Democrats than Sanders, honestly.
