You're going to have to start voting Democratic if this issue is important to you. The rest of the Republican candidates would have done this on January 21.
Yeah, I don't want to see any fiscally conservative socially liberal #NeverTrump (former) Republicans expressing their dismay over this. It's not as if Jeb!, Rubio, Walker or Cruz wouldn't have left the agreement.

With his decision to leave the Paris Agreement, Donald Trump has also decided to render him self politically irrelevant on the world stage.
Sure, keep dreaming. No U.S. president is ever "politically irrelevant on the world stage."

Hackery. The mere fact that everybody is currently talking about Trump and will doubtlessly continue to do so proves that he is everything but politically irrelevant. The word you're looking for is unpopular.

Everyone's talking about Lady Gaga and Justin Bieber, too. That doesn't make them politically relevant.
Not politicians.

Trump is a reality tv star and professional celebrity. (And con artist.) If nothing else, the last four months should make that very obvious. He is no more a politician than the muddy dog running about the ballroom is a dancer.
Newsflash, he's your president.
