I'm perfectly fine with people trashtalking Scalia, after all he had great political (and symbolic) influence, so it is fair game, even if I vehemently disagree with it because he was of course an FF.

However, I don't want to hear any of the "good riddance, he was trash" people complaining about me being "mean" or "disrespectful" on the day that I'll say the same about Jimmy Carter.

Dislike his excessive reliance on past precedent (I much prefer Thomas' view of actively overturning past liberal decisions), but still much preferable to his seven other colleagues.
