ND-AL has potential, especially if Heitkamp just straight-up walks away with reelection, but the issue is that both state benches are singularly horrible. Who do the NDDEMs even have left after 2016?

Hmm where did Doug Jones come from? I’m sick of hearing about ‘benches’ there are always candidates waiting in the wings. Business, veterans, prosecutors, mayors etc.

Yep. Look at the Republicans in 2016. Huge bench and their winning candidate wasn't even part of that bench.
