Russia is now bringing back the Maxim machine guns, used in both World Wars.

Edit: There are some videos of Ukrainians using them as well.

Did you know the Normandy landings were just a diversion?

Hitler actually thought that they were a diversion and that there would be an even larger landing near Calais. That's why he kept many of his divisions away from Normandy during the first days of the battle.

You know, everyone thinks that the League of Nations was useless and inefficient, but at least the LN managed to expel Soviet Union from its membership when the Soviets attacked Finland...

What is Macron thinking? The Serbs were closer to Bosniaks than the Russians are to Ukrainians, but that didn't stop them from doing the genocide at Srebrenica.

The Russians don't want to admit that the Ukrainians sunk their ship, so they would rather have the world think that the Russian sailors are such incompetent buffoons that they accidentally blow up their own ship?

Alexander Dugin's daughter has died in an apparent car bomb. The bomb might have been meant for Dugin, as they had been at the same event prior to it. In any case, the daughter seems to have shared his father's ideology.

What's the Russian motive for blowing up the pipeline right before winter?

False flag operation to discredit USA or some other Western nation and get an excuse for the Russian navy to operate in that part of the Baltic sea in the name of safeguarding Russia's assets.

Next time Azerbaijan tries to annex southern Armenia, I guess the world can follow Armenia's example and "abstain". What point is there in kowtowing to Moscow now when they have seen that CSTO is meaningless? Even the Russia lovers of Serbia voted to condemn.

Russia claimed to have killed 600 Ukrainian soldiers in a missile strike on a school turned into barracks (in an inversion of Makiivka). But the thing is, a Finnish reporter is on the ground at that school, and it's intact. Two missiles struck the area near the building, but his sources say that the building was empty. So, it looks like the Moscow regime is just desperate to have its people think that Makiivka has been 'avenged'. Put that claim into the same category as Russians claiming to have destroyed a hundred HIMARSes...

How can Macron and Scholz be so historically illiterate that they would advocate negotiations by referencing Germany and France in WWII? A war that did not end with negotiations but with an unconditional surrender of the country that started the war.

If Macron were in the place of De Gaulle, would he have negotiated peace with Hitler in the fall of 1944 by letting him keep Alsace-Lorraine?

Apparently the war is felt in Sudan too, with Ukraine striking with drones against a Russia-backed militia:
