March 31, 1981: President Ronald Reagan is shot and fatally wounded by a assassin named John Hinckley Jr. who does it to impress actress Jodie Foster. Vice President George Bush is sworn in as president at a hotel suite he was renting and then taken straight to Washington D.C.

April 2, 1981: Congressman Jack F. Kemp (R-NY) is nominated for the vacant post of vice president by President Bush.

April 10 1981:Congressman Kemp is confirmed by the house and senate.

April 13 1981; In an address to the nation President George H W Bush announces that he attends to push for a constitutional amendment in the coming weeks overturning Roe v Wade.

April 20, 1981: In a stunning development, President Bush is revealed to have been fueling Hinckley's obsession with Jodie Foster in order to get him to shot President Reagan. Bush resigns in disgrace and is soon charged. Jack Kemp is sworn in as the 42nd President of the United States in the same place where Gerald Ford was sworn in what is known as the 3 week crisis.

April 21, 1981: President Kemp says George Bush will pay the price and orders a investigation.

April 29, 1981: The tangled web of scandal knits still further, an expose published in the New York Times reveals the documents implicating Bush in the murder of President Reagan were forged by aides to President Kemp.
