Um, no, that's not how it works. A "socialist" is someone who supports the program of economic and social policies collectively defined as "socialism," the defining characteristic of this program being the collective ownership of the means of production. Simply declaring yourself a socialist does not a Marxist make, anymore than declaring myself a cat makes me a member of the feline community.
