Midwest Governor TNF issues Executive Orders 11 and 12, renaming his Region the "People's Republic of the Midwest" and declaring that the Governor shall henceforth be known as the Chairman of the Committee of People's Commissars. The CPC is subsequently granted complete legislative jurisdiction over the Midwest until a new legislature can be elected.

The CPC is given complete control over all military forces in the Midwest.

JULY 16
Scheduled elections for the Midwest Althing, renamed the "Volkskammer" by TNF, do not take place. Members of the Nat Turner Brigade are sent to occupy voting booths across the Midwest.

JULY 17
TNF declares the establishment of a "dictatorship of the proletariat", nullifies the Midwest Constitution, and orders the arrest of all members of the Althing. TNF subsequently orders the Red Army to invade the Pacific.

Attorney General Al Sibboleth charges Senator North Carolina Yankee with treason.

JULY 18
TNF issues Political Bulletin #1, establishing "fraternal relations" with international communist regimes, outlaws the display of the Atlasian flag, and drafts all Midwesterners between the ages of 15 and 35 into the Red Army.

GM Dkrol declares that his office will not recognize the existence of militias created in response to the Midwestern Revolt, stating that all actions by said groups will be considered "arbitrary [and] inaccurate" for the purposes of the game.

TNF issues an ultimatum to President Bore, demanding that he dissolve Atlasia.

GM Dkrol refutes TNF's claims, confirming that Snowstalker is still in prison and that the majority of New Mexico remains under Pacific control.

Attorney General Al Sibboleth reforms the "Reality or Nothing" terrorist organization. TNF quickly proposes an alliance between the group and the PRM.

Former Midwest Archduke Maxwell declares his candidacy for the Senate, stating that is elected "I will abolish Atlasia and nothing else".

President Bore announces his support for dissolving Atlasia. The president made no statement on the rebellion in the Midwest.

TNF demands the surrender of the State of Missouri.

Atlasian citizen Leinad petitions for TNF's arrest following the failure of the Bore Administration to press charges against the Midwest Governor/Chairman.

TNF declares himself Regional Senator from the Midwest following Senator Snowguy's vote against the Dissolution Amendment. TNF states that he will continue to serve as Chairman of the CPC in addition to the Senatorial role.

Senator Blair introduces legislation to declare war on TNF, declaring that he has lost faith in President Bore's ability to control the situation.

TNF declares the formation of the Union of Atlasian Socialist Republics. Former Senator SWE joins TNF as co-chairman of the Communist confederation, which claims territory in the Northeast and Midwest.

GM DKrol reports that Pacific forces have turned back the Red Army, whose strength has been depleted by mass desertion.

TNF continues to defy reality, claiming his forces have taken control of large swaths of the Pacific.

President Bore declares his opposition to TNF's revolution, but says he will not act until the Game Moderator confirms that the revolution did indeed take place. Bore likewise refuses to dismiss Attorney General Sibboleth.

President Bore orders the Atlasian military to move against TNF, giving the armed forces authority to subdue the rebellion "by any means necessary".

TNF resigns from the Senate, implying that he will launch a nuclear attack on Nyman if the government does not capitulate.

Efforts to impeach Vice President Nix and Attorney General Sibboleth meet with wide support in the Senate.

Southern Governor Flo orders Regional military forces to secure the South's borders and requests additional troops from President Bore.

Kalwejt is confirmed as SoEA, placing him next in line for the presidency.
