Chris Collins.  He could use failure to pass the tax cut bill as an excuse to not run again.

Of course, that could take a short while.

I'm not sure what's been going on exactly, but I would expect Martha McSally to announce her run for the U.S Senate.  So, she's probably next and should be counted as a 'retirement' in line with all the others on the list who are running for either U.S Senate or Governor.

Other Republican House members considering running for Governor or U.S Senate according to Ron Gunzberger at www.politics1.com are Paul Gosar,  Ron DeSantis, Bruce Poliquin, Fred Upton, Greg Gianforte, Tom MacArthur and Kevin Cramer.

GF may run for governor again in 2020, but not for Senate. He's running for reelection in 2018.

I'm surprised nobody has considered the idea of Sean Duffy running against Tammy Baldwin.  She's a rather left wing Democrat and would seem to be vulnerable.

If Paul Gosar gets the GOP nomination,  then it's +1 for the dems in the gov races.

He's mentioned as a possible U.S Senate candidate along with Martha McSally.

I'm actually going to guess Kay Granger. Kind of boring though since her seat is pretty safe.

As far as exciting retirements go, I'm thinking Ed Royce.

Is her seat pretty safe Republican?  A good deal of her district is the city of Fort Worth.  I realize it's been a Republican leaning area but bigger cities of Texas and suburbs seem to be shifting away from the Republicans with Trump as President.
