Michael Gove's most recent major public statement was "people in this country have had enough of experts."

Reminds me of this from the 1980s British T.V Show "Yes, MInister"

From the episode "The Greasy Pole"

Chair of the British Chemical Corporation Sir Walley (a public company that may or may not exist): "I tell you as a chemist myself that metadioxin is utterly safe" (apparently there is no such chemical compound)

Minister Hacker: "Why do you experts always think you're right?"

Chair Sir Walley: "And why do you think that the more inexpert you are the more likely you are to be right?"

Why isn't Boris running? Something to do with Michael Gove's e-mail? People need to stop being vague.

It went further than that - Gove out and out said a few hours ago that Boris would make a crap leader. Boris then saw the numbers in the parliamentary party ebb away from him and so he pulled out.

So, Gove claims to be an expert in who would and wouldn't be a capable leader?
