My health comes first and I am concerned about my surgery next week, I believe it will be better for the south to have a Senator who can spend more time and energy here than someone who is battling IRL health issues and won't be able to spend the time required on the legislation the South needs in the Senate.
I am sorry I couldn't fulfill a full term, and can hope my constituents understand why I am making this hard decision.
