Jennifer Granholm - Bad economy; economics are her weakest area.
It's not her fault the entire rust belt has turned to sh**t.
Wasn't it just a few months ago we were talking about how popular she is and how she'll be unbeatable in '06? There was even talk about how if she had been born in the U.S., she'd be a great Presidential candidate. Things must have gotten pretty bad and she must have some responsibility for such a drastic turnaround.
Well, she's still one of the most popular governors, among Democrats,
outside Michigan. Haha. I think my comments on her favorable ratings might have been a little short-sighted, though she's still going to win. And you should note the distinct unpopularity among midwestern governors (Doyle, Granholm, Blagojevich, Taft, previously Indiana, probably Rendell in W. Pa.).
