Public opinion is, but public policy isn't.
The abortion issue is the one that I am most familiar with, and public opinion is far more pro-life than 20 years ago.
It's still 50/50, actually.
It's 50-50 now, as opposed to like 2-1 pro-choice in the 1990s.
