I just basically told him this forum was created in the Bush years and he basically lol then said that designation makes sense lol as it seemed like back in those days, the word Freedom Fighter was used a lot to describe politicians who people liked and Bush seemed to use that word a lot too.

So he thought it was this forum making fun of that period's use of Freedom Fighter = Someone who I think is good , and then it just got carried on to the present day
