- Well this forum irrationally hates Reagan despite the fact that even Historians(Who are liberal-leaning) always rank him in the top 8-12 among all presidents. If they said Reagan mediocre(Or say an effective president who i disagree with politically) I wouldn't react the way I do as when so many people just call him one of the worst Presidents on here which is 100% ridiculous just as its ridiculous when the right calls FDR or Clinton one of the worst president.

I consider Reagan or (after the Alzheimer's ravaged him) his handlers effective. I may have disagreed with his agenda and the course on which America went after him (and this may culminate with Donald Trump)... but he was effective. The best analogue that I can think of to Reagan is  Andrew Jackson, who was effective -- even if he forced changes that culminated in the Civil War after he was gone.
