Its August 1912 , what would atlas say about the election. Well now that Roosevelt has officially bolted from the Republican party this is how I think the election will go.



Wilson 252
TR 161
Taft 118

I think TR/Johnson win in congress as the compromise ticket , but NY likely decides the contest. I think for that to happen though TR should withdraw from NY as if Wilson wins NY the Dems will win the presidency .

Wilson will win in the House, but Butler will win in the Senate. In 1916, either Nicholas Murray Butler or Charles Evan Hughes will win the election.

The Senate can only choose between the top 2 candidates so I think Johnson will be VP.

What I will be interested to see is if there are a large number of Democrats who will vote for Roosevelt.
