Re: Who Do You Have On Ignore?

I joined uselectionatlas.org in 2008 but didn't begin posting until 2009. I appreciate Atlas Forum for the wealth of information available not just from Dave Leip, much of which gets discussed, but also from some remarkable observations shared by numerous forum members.

I do make use of the "Ignore" feature; but, I'm not going to mention anyone specific. I apply it against particular forum members who are not worth my attention. They are individuals who contribute nothing of value to this website.

You literally contributed nothing to this thread. Ignored.

This one's kind of random, given that he barely posts any more, and you're a newbie.  In fact, since you registered, Don has only made thirteen posts; one of which aptly characterizes the content and tone of almost his entire posting history:

Re: favorite color

I guess I am pretty new in the grand scheme of things.

I tend to go through old Atlas posts sometimes and something he said probably pissed me off or just rubbed me the wrong way and I ignored him. I was wondering why he was ignored.

Why do you have me on ignore when you reply to every post I make?

Why do you have me on ignore when you reply to every post I make?

"Show" button

Then what is the point of ignoring him?

The only thing that I can think of is him using it as some sort of punishment against folks that don't 100% agree with him. I bet you that he clicks "show" on every ignored user, which is just idiotic and defeats the point of the function.

I only click 'Show' in the FC section, where around 75% of your posts are about me.

But otherwise... "some sort of punishment against folks that don't 100% agree with him"... LOL

My posts outside of FC are really that bad? I sincerely apologize if so... but the fact is that FC is where you have issues with people most of the time, and guys like Joe Republic, Cathcon, etc... make a lot of good posts outside of FC so what's the point of ignoring them and only showing posts in FC?

The more you explain it the more nonsensical this entire scheme appears.
