Neither treason or betraying the country or undermining the Presidency. Congress is allowed to invite people to speak to it, independent of the executive branch. Congress isn't necessarily required to bring in the executive branch to consult.

Your behavior here reminds me of those who were Bush apologists in his time in office. You could be the perfect Republican, if your party affiliation was Republican. I thought for a moment I was reading a "blue" avatar. The whole "betrayal" and "treason" sounds so Fox News.
