Where are you getting the latest updated results? I'm searching the SOS site.

1.34% in though. There's a lot of time for Angelle to catch up.

What are the Angelle strongholds versus the Vitter strongholds?

It looks like Vitter won second place, unless there's a surprise in the last 1500 precincts. Which makes this a competitive gubernatorial election. Ugh.

Any chance Vitter could lose? He's been up 2% consistently.

Vitter won't be elected Governor. The reason I was pulling for Angelle is because with Vitter, the governorship has a 50-50 (if not worse) chances of going to Edwards.

Democrats will likely win the governorship.

This is why I supported Scott Angelle. The minute I saw Angelle losing by 2%, I knew the Governorship was going to the Democrats. Vitter is a politically dead duck walking. I might have gotten Conway wrong but I'm not seeing how Edwards loses a lead of 20% in 2 weeks. I agree, it won't be a 20% win, but it's going to be a healthy win.

Changing prediction to 51-49% Vitter (R). I think the momentum is going to head towards Vitter and the Syria refugee reaction is going to be a crucial thing.

At least we still hold 31 governorships. I wish we had won Louisiana, but 31 Republican governors, still nothing to sneeze at.
