Teams with losing conference records should not be eligible for the tournament. I'd even go further and say that if you finish in the bottom half of your conference you should be ineligible. The latest projections have 8 Big 12 (Ten) teams, finishing 8/10 should not be rewarded.

The casual fan would rather see a third place mid-major over a 20-14 Kentucky team every single time. But, money.

The NFL has already offered both ref crews from today's games. That was some pretty obvious influencing.

I doubt it's been called once all tournament (par for the course for modern basketball) but, Butler clearly carried the ball before the game-winner.
