Might it be possible to play as a side (non-competitor character), to give players issues and events to react to?

You mentioned Hume retired, is he in the house, or is he presumably waiting to take a dirt nap?

I'll play, but only if theres a non candidate position that allows involvement given busy law school scheduling.
