WHY DO THEY ALWAYS PUT THEIR OWN RULINGS ON HOLD IT'S SO F-ING ANNOYING

Judge knows there's a very high probability of an appeal and the safer course is to let the case wind through the appellate courts rather than to briefly enable SSM only to potentially cause a problem if its stayed later or if they are reversed.
