No, I've never been to Europe. But if I do visit I'll obviously avoid those garbage places and spend my time only in progressive areas. [...] And I think just about anyone would rather visit Paris than Aisne.
I mean Lille is in Nord rather than Aisne but its pretty close to the border, and that's incredibly nice to go to. Plus that general area (Somme is more famous for it for obvious reasons) is a place where lots of major WWI battles are fought, which is a reason why people might elect to go there. I mean Paris is very nice; but its well, very... touristy, with all the problems that has. I was only there for three days and that was really enough for me, I can only imagine that its worse in the summer rather than a random weekend in the middle of January...
And not the sidetrack, but the beer you get in Nord-Pas-de-Calais, absolutely incredible...
And the thing about Aisne is,
