I think it should be pointed out the Irish fighters for independence waged a legitimate guerrilla war. They targeted British military and security personnel, which certainly doesn't qualify them as "terrorists".

Ah, but when a Taliban sets off an IED that kills American soldiers, does that count as terrorism?
