The ironic this is, from the exit polls, Cotton was still winning religious voters with 60%+. No amount of pandering was going to get them voting D.

I think a good deal of religious voters are going to not vote for you when you literally thump the bible at them as desperately as he did.

He might as well have gotten on his knees and yell "I LOVE JESUS! VOTE FOR ME! JUST DO IT CAUSE I LOVE JESUS!"
