I hope to God not. If the Republicans want to win, they need someone who is more charismatic, less likely to be pinned as elitist, and more likely to gain Independents AND keep the base satisfied. If you ask me, the last factor hurt Romney the most. He had a slight advantage with Independents, but several Republicans stayed home.

Can you imagine how boring a general election between Mitt Romney and Hillary Clinton would be?

The foreign policy debate would literally be the most boring thing in the world.
