Has IceSpear issued a statement?  Hopefully he's more graceful in being totally wrong than TN Vol, who just moved the goalposts and is sure to remain as annoying as ever.

Huh I fully realize that I was wrong about NH. Sununu won, Trump came very close to winning it and Ayotte almost certainly would have won had the other Republican candidate not run as an Independent. So yeah, the state is winnable for Republicans if they're having a very good night, but I still think it leans Democratic in a neutral environment and will continue to trend a bit Democratic (unlike Maine or Rhode Island, for example). The Democrats still have a very high floor in the state.

So yeah, I'm sorry, but I was 100% convinced that NH is gone for the GOP after what happened in 2012 and 2014.

I was right about Ron Johnson being much more likely to win than Kelly Ayotte, though. Wink

My apologies, then.  I sincerely hope we're moving toward an environment with fewer safe states and more ticket splitting, as that's what's best for the country.

IceSpear (RIP) was wrong about many things, but I don't recall him being wrong on this one.

Some of his best lines were how West Virginians weren't ever going to ticket split ever again because they now viewed even local Democrats as part of the anti-White hate group that was the Democratic Party and repeatedly referencing "Governor Cole" and how he was measuring the drapes of the governor's mansion.
