If they actually nominate this guy twice the GOP primary electorate is collectively the dumbest group of people in the country.

You really need more evidence of this than we already have...?

Everyone in the Democratic base is so smart.

African Americans have a large sway in the Democratic primary. They are the most pragmatic voting group in the country. They also usually vote first in the primary canceling any left-wing candidate chances. The pragmatic voters in the Republican primary vote last and the new SEC primary does not help either. 

No, I know, I know.  It's just the attitude some on this forum seem to have that insinuates there aren't millions of ignorant/uneducated voters who are loyal Dems is as annoying as it is perplexing.
