A Santender vs. Southern Gothic race will likely produce a lot of 1960-esque echo chamber calls.

Haha, it's certainly to your advantage.  Santender is a funnier Trump, which I don't think he'd take offense to, and he'd fare even worse given you'd do better than Hillary would for sure.

eh, i think we are both maxed out on our support, Clark LMAO.

RINO Tom, what are your views on foreign policy? (Israel, Iran, neoconservatism v non-interventionism etc...)?

I am pretty interventionist, mostly from a corny "world police," shining city on a hill perspective.  I recognize there are mistakes (Vietnam, ARGUABLY Iraq), but I think it is our responsibility and privilege to be the leader of the free world, and that includes protecting human rights abroad.  We obviously can't help everyone, so as bad as it sounds at first, we must prioritize situations that involve our national security interests first in that pursuit.  Probably to your dismay, I don't get to worked up about Israel.  However, I am flabbergasted by people who can't at least acknowledge the importance of them being the only democratic state in the region and how important it is that the US and Israel remain close allies.  Iran?  I support sanctions, probably stronger than Obama's deal for sure.

Bam! Santander decks Tom with a religious right hook! Can Tom recover?

Probably not, LOL.  It's Friday!

As a Republican, I will get in line behind the nominee just as Pat Buchanan did in 1996 as long as he picks a true conservative, pro-life running mate.

Define true conservative, as I think economic populism is inherently not conservative, yet those folks never get called RINOs. Tongue

I will pick a pro-life runningmate.  Give me a few minutes to think it over.

EDIT: In an attempt to unite the party, I'll pick Sunshine as my VP.  He's proudly pro-life, and we will be arguing that SG's foreign policy is naive and has made America less safe!

Being the most pro-Israel Democrat in a long time makes my foreign policy naive? Huh, interesting. Wink

LOL, I just remember thinking you were a pretty committed dove on foreign policy.
