Regardless of what you think of Kucinich's views, he was still a joke candidate. Highest elected office was the House, bad record as mayor of Cleveland, and was far more interested in throwing bombs than actually accomplishing anything.

Kucinch saved Cleveland hundreds of millions by standing up to the banks and the mafia, the later of which put a hit on him, and not selling the public utility company.

He also has a wild history of incompetent and gimmicky stunts such as firing people on live television. Whatever his views might be, Kucinich can't seem to present himself in a way that seems more than quixotic. He never really could.

This.  His views almost became irrelevant; he just came across as ... unstable, LOL.
