Yeah, you have to be alive in the first place to die
To be fair, Republicans control the New Hampshire state senate, have one of their national Senate seats (and an outside chance of stealing the other one with an upset in November) and very well might pick up one of the Congressional districts... Hardly dead or even dying.
Even if none of that were true, NH voters - based on both polls and registration statistics - are fairly evenly divided along partisan lines. I'd say it's easily a "Purple State." Heck, I'm pretty sure there are actually more Republicans in NH than Democrats, but the independents certainly have been breaking Democrat lately.
